I'm back!

It has been well over a year since I last posted. 2023 was a tough year for me, filled with multiple major surgeries interspersed with lucid moments of intense writing so as to meet my publishing deadlines. It left room for nothing else. You see, I'd signed a contract to produce my first novel well before I knew I needed surgery and, being the overachiever that I am, I still wanted to meet those deadlines.

I have to say my publisher was wonderful in giving me the space and time I needed. If anything, I was the one pushing myself to meet those deadlines. But despite the hardship, those goals kept my mind focussed on other things besides my post-surgery pain. It gave me something to strive for, work for and look forward to. And consequently, I can now introduce you to the cover of The Stolen Daughter.

The story is a figment of my imagination, grounded in real historical events, portraying real historical characters and inspired by my own personal history and heritage.

I am eagerly looking forward to its debut in May and hope you love the cover as much as I do.

Much love,

Florence
